U2 announces a new U2 X Radio on Sirius XM

U2 has apparently announced a new Sirius XM channel called U2 X Radio. The channel will debut in 2020 and offer U2 live concerts, the bands roots in Dublin and stuff from the bands vast archives. Details are incomplete but stay tuned for more details on this new U2 venture as more comes to light.

UPDATE: From the bands website

U2X RADIO will launch in 2020 – with a dedicated radio channel for SiriusXM subscribers as well as content for Pandora listeners – and will celebrate music from the length and breadth of U2’s career. The channel will see the band themselves taking to the airwaves and will also feature never-before heard interviews and live concert recordings, favorites and surprises from the archive, playlists curated by the band, as well as content celebrating their Dublin roots and much more.

We’re excited for U2’s new channel and will be listening when it launches in 2020.

Of course we’ll continue to offer a free option for fans who can’t (for whatever reason) tune into Sirius XM.
