Bono a no show at the St Stephen’s Day races along with other year-end events

Bono has been made to skip another year-end event that has been a regular for many years. Bono didn’t make it to this years busking session on Dublin’s Grafton Street, and the St. Stephen’s Day races in Leopardstown. Bono has been offline and out of sight since November nursing his injuries from a bike accident in New York. He suffered several fractures to his left shoulder-blade, a fractured little finger, and back injuries.

Bono also missed the World AIDS Day concert in New York, where the remaining members of U2 were joined by friends Bruce Springsteen, and Chris Martin to pull off the charity event concert without Bono. The group was dubbed “U2 minu 1” and performed several U2 hits.

Bono was spotted earlier heading to the The Cliff Townhouse in Dublin City to meet some friends and family for Christmas dinner. Larry Mullen Jnr, and Shane MacGowan were seen entering the same restaurant.

Like many U2 fans we hope for a speedy recovery for Bono. #GetWellBono
