Remarks:
N/At tonight’s concert, U2’s giant, silver lemon is broken, so its not used. Before Desire, Bono amusingly inquires if the evening’s persistent rain is the work of controversial state politician Fred Nile and tells the crowd not to let Nile rain on their parade. Bono then jokingly dedicates Desire to the socially conservative Nile and another controversial Australian politican, Pauline Hanson. This concert features the final performance of MLK until February 3, 2002.
