LA Galaxy star Steven Gerrard has been taking a break from his football schedule to hang out with iconic band U2.
The Liverpool legend posted an image to social media showing himself stood with the band during their rehearsal prior to an upcoming performance in Los Angeles.
Gerrard treated his five million Instagram followers to the snap, hailing the opportunity to listen to the band rehearse as an ‘incredible experience.’
Gerrard was accompanying his Galaxy team-mate and captain Robbie Keane in paying a visit to the Irish band.
Keane, like U2 also hailing from Ireland, organised the meeting and later took to his Instagram account to publicly thank the quartet for their time.
Captioning his image Keane wrote: ‘Great to watch the lads rehearse. What an experience.’
