U2’s public performance in a New York subway

On May 4, U2 played as street performers on a subway platform in New York City. The “concert,” which was performed by the S train at Grand Central Station, included Angel of Harlem, Beautiful Day, and Song for Someone. Their “stage setup” featured an open guitar case presumably for tips, and the band members were dressed for the part as buskers; Bono even wore a blue cowboy hat. U2 are in New York this week for their appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.
